Terms of Service for VatLuma

VatLuma (the “Company”) operates the website vatluma.com (the “Site”) offering VAT reclaim assistance for business travelers. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Services Offered

VatLuma provides specialized assistance to business travelers for reclaiming value added tax incurred during business trips. Our services include consultation, documentation review, and submission to relevant tax authorities.

2. Account Requirements

To use our services, you must provide accurate identification and travel documentation. You will retain responsibility for maintaining confidentiality of account credentials.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site is protected by copyright and belongs to VatLuma. You may not reproduce or distribute any materials without prior written consent.

4. Refund and Cancellation Policy

We recognize the varied nature of our offerings and have tailored provisions for each category:

4.1 Business Services

If you cancel more than 14 days before a scheduled appointment and no documentation process has begun, you may request a refund. Such requests must be submitted in writing. Eligible reimbursements are processed as a credit to the original payment method within 10 business days. You may elect to apply the credit to a different service if you notify us at least 7 days before the original appointment. Services for which documentation has been submitted or the scheduled date has passed are non-refundable due to administrative commitments.

4.2 Digital Products

Digital materials become available immediately upon purchase. You may request a refund within 7 days of access, provided less than 20% of the content has been downloaded. Approved reimbursements are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days. No transfers are permitted for digital products.

4.3 Physical Goods

For tangible kits purchased, you may ship back unused items within 30 days of delivery at your expense. Products must remain in original condition. Once received and inspected, reimbursements for the product cost are issued to the original payment method. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

4.4 Processing of Refunds

All approved reimbursements will be credited to the original payment instrument. Processing typically completes within 5-10 business days. VatLuma does not control the timelines of external payment providers.

5. Limitation of Liability

VatLuma’s maximum liability arising from use of the Site or services is limited to fees paid in the prior 12 months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
